Welome to the marriage surgery site.
If you love our Church as much as we do, then, St.Nicholas is the only Church for your 'special Day'.
We cater for all types of ceremonies-your day- your choice, we are here to help you.
We can cater for a small intimate ceremony, or for a service of around a 100 people.
We have an exceptional organist who, with the appropriate sheet music, can play anything of your choice. For an alternative we have a very good sound system and can play any apropriate CD's you wish to use on your day.
Our choir is also available to sing any hymns you choose, as can be discussed when you attend a wedding surgery.
We also do a renewal of wedding vows. Which is a different ceremony arranged by the minister.
Things to consider are:
How many hymns you require - 2 or 3 is the usual.
A best man/lady - Bridesmaids (as many as you want or none).
Father of the bride (as a position)
Witnesses- have to be chosen (two)
When it is time for the register to be signed it is nice to have a piece of music for your guests to listen to.
We have a few special areas outside our Church for you and your photographer to take advantage off.
We request you only use confetti at the bottom of the steps.
More people are requesting an alternate day other then Saturday or Sunday. It can work out cheaper if you are watching your expenses. Again your minister will have to agree on this.
When putting together your order of service look at our suggestions page.
